Macleod Labs FZ-LLC (licence 47032317, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE) is responsible for personal data collected through macleodlabs.ai and our services. We follow the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), and the GDPR where it applies to you.

What we collect §

What you send us: your name, email address, company and message when you use the contact form or email us.
Customer and billing data: your name, company, billing address and email when you buy. Stripe processes card payments; we receive only a card summary (brand, last four digits), never the full number.
Technical data: our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services) keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security.

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it §

To answer your enquiry and deliver the work or product you bought.
To invoice you, take payment and meet our tax and accounting duties.
To keep the site and services secure.

We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Only the service providers that run these functions, each under its own data-protection terms:

Stripe (payments)
Web3Forms (contact form delivery)
Amazon Web Services (hosting)
Google Fonts (fonts; your browser requests them from Google)
Ghost (the blog at blog.macleodlabs.ai)
our email provider

Some of these providers process data outside the UAE.

How long we keep it §

Enquiries: up to 2 years. Customer and invoice records: as long as UAE tax and commercial law requires (normally at least 5 years).

Your rights §

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to how we use it. Email steve@macleodlabs.ai and we will reply within 30 days.
